Dearest of mine, after a
short pause, we are back again, making our contribution for sustainable and
sustainable finances. September is time for reflection, a month where in my
country, determining true inflation is confusing, because everyone has their
version, their calculations and at the end of the day they achieve the effect,
generating great confusion, something like "A troubled river, profit of
fishermen”. I am going the easy way, a pensioner required Bs. 20 for a carton
of eggs in March 2022 and now it is Bs. 40.
Six months to double a price
with a paper increase, because as long as the productive apparatus is not
activated, we do not advance economically, they would have to adjust the salary
daily as well as the dollar price.
¿Who can lose by raising
prices every day and paying fixed costs?
In short, friends of the
globe, Venezuela broke records in food prices and that is a real fact.
To start the month, I want
to highlight the importance of local business, of supporting all those
entrepreneurs who are your neighbors and risk their capital to continue their
economic activity.
The gross domestic product
(GDP) is an economic indicator that reflects the monetary value of all final
goods and services produced by a territory in a given period of time. Local,
public, private companies. It is used to measure the wealth generated by a
country, but it does not indicate prosperity, it measures economic movement.
GDP measures the total
production of goods and services in a country, so its calculation is quite
complex. We have to know all the final goods and services that the country has
produced and add them up. That is to say, from the production of fruits, milk,
books, vehicles, machines and all the goods that have been produced in the
country to the services of a taxi, a doctor, a lawyer, an administrator, a bank
or a teacher, among others. much others. GDP excludes imports.
As long as there is production
of goods and services and people who also buy those goods and services, the
economy is strengthened. If goods and services are produced and nobody consumes
them, the economy is weakened.
Supporting local businesses
and entrepreneurs makes the area develop, employment is activated and more
investors appear. Be selective, even for medicines, always choose national
production.
¿Why favor local trade?
- Move the money.
- It favors ecology, you
don't have to turn on your vehicle.
- Attract investors.
- You save on travel.
- You receive personalized
attention.
- Trade beautifies the area
or maintains it.
- Generate employment.
- Generate taxes.
- Trade allows free transit
and decreases crime.
- Allows you to optimize
your time.
- Social commitment to the
community, supporting your neighbors benefits you.
You have the power to
choose:
- Buy national products,
check the label.
- Buy grown in the area.
- Buy manufactured in the
area.
- Buy the best price.
- Buy where you do not doubt
the weight.
- Buy where you buy quality
products.
- Shop where sanitary
conditions are adequate and employees look good.
- Buy where they give you
your invoice.
- Choose local professional
services, verifying their credentials.
- Choose good attention,
respect and dignified treatment. We decide which trade continues and which does
not with the purchase.
- Sell by WhatsApp:
1. Respond quickly and to
the point.
2. Sell results and
solutions, not products and services.
3. Structure the texts with
bullet points, vignettes and emojis.
4. Exploits the principles
of scarcity and personalized.
5. Diversify your means of
payment as much as you can.
6. Stand out for your
after-sales service and cordiality.
Another very interesting
approach is to buy only national products, remember that very few benefit from
the imported products you buy, always bet on the one that is produced in the
country, generates employment and pays taxes.
¿What happens when we buy
imported?
- Some local business is in
danger of closing.
- Someone can lose their
job.
- Depending on international
trade makes me more vulnerable.
- On many occasions I put my
health at risk, because they do not have adequate sanitary conditions.
- I turn my back on the
economy of the country where I live.
To finish, this week I
received a beautiful reflection and I want to share it with you, my samurai.
Happy Sunday wherever you are and if you like me, share it and support me. I'm
in Venezuela. Thanks.
"BURN YOUR SHIPS"
A Japanese legend tells that
one day in the morning the emperor received a message from one of the islands of
the peninsula, in the message he was informed that a foreign army was landing
with a certain number of men with the clear intention of invading Japan, the
emperor without expressing any sign of concern sent for his best general.
The general, being in the
presence of the emperor, finds out about the situation and the emperor
addresses him giving him the following mission: You will take 500 men and
embark with them to repel the advance of the enemies of Japan. The general
immediately answers the emperor: But sir, we will be outnumbered 3 to 1, I will
need more men. The emperor with seriousness and security answers him: That is
why I am sending you, because you are my best general and I know that if you
succeed or fail you will do so with honor and dignity.
The general without further
ado retires and embarks on that island with his 500 men, on the way he sees the
faces of his men who only showed discouragement, defeat and concern for which
he begins to think what to do to motivate them, at arrive at the island and
when all his men disembark an idea occurs to him, he immediately gives the
order to his archers to burn the boats, the surprised archers obey the order,
the soldiers when they see that the boats are starting to burn between eyes
they look at each other wondering what is happening to their general. Through
their heads they could not imagine what was happening, not even through their
minds could they think ill of their general, at that moment their general
addresses them and tells them: Gentlemen, there is no retreat, the only way to
get out alive from this island is with victory, for this we prepared and were
trained, we have the knowledge, skills, weapons and tools necessary to succeed,
and so it was, their fully empowered soldiers obtained victory.
The same happens when we
intend to achieve our goals, dreams and purposes in life, they will outnumber
us 3 to 1, the first enemy will be yourself, the second will be your family and
the third your friends, sometimes you will be outnumbered 4 to 1 and that
fourth enemy can be your partner, but if you burn your boats that are excuses,
bad habits, what others will say, what others think, complain, procrastinate,
postpone, get up late, not read, not invest in yourself, blame others others,
etc., and if you have the necessary knowledge, skills and tools you will only
have to achieve success and victory, burn your boats so that there are no
retreats in your endeavors.
