Vivimos en una época, un
poco complicada, donde no es fácil predecir ni proyectar al futuro. Manejamos
ya las consecuencias del cambio climático y estamos viviendo cambios políticos
muy radicales, acompañados de una amenaza nuclear. Todo esto nos invita a
concentrarnos en nuestro desempeño personal, para mejorarlo y enfocándonos en
lo que realmente tiene sentido. Es aquí
cuando surge la necesidad de renovar nuestra filosofía de vida, para no dejar
de percibir la vida como un regalo y no como castigo.
Los estoicos pensaban que la
vida era compleja y agotadora, por eso crearon reglas para mantenerse en el
‘camino correcto’. Esta escuela de vida fue fundada por Zenon de Citio en la
antigua Grecia, identifica el bien con la vida virtuosa, lejos de las pasiones.
En sus inicios, mantiene cierto contacto con algunas concepciones religiosas
orientales y, en su tiempo, tuvo gran influencia política y moral. Hoy,
representa una de las corrientes filosóficas más importantes y su influencia se
deja ver en la corriente cognitivo conductual de la psicología. El estoicismo
defiende que todo está ligado, propone vivir de acuerdo a la razón, aceptando
lo que el destino depare y tratando de eliminar las emociones negativas, como
el miedo y el odio, para desarrollar las positivas (amor y alegría), y
mantenerse imperturbable con ausencia de deseos y temores, lo que se denomina
ataraxia (Estado de ánimo que se caracteriza por la tranquilidad y la total
ausencia de deseos o temores). Porque la verdadera felicidad, depende de cada
uno de nosotros. Crisipo de Solos, Epicteto y el emperador Marco Aurelio, dejaron
para la historia su obra, las meditaciones, porque son de los estoicos más
relevantes de la época.

El estoicismo es la
capacidad o la fuerza de voluntad de un individuo para controlar sus
sentimientos o emociones. Alguien estoico, por lo tanto, se mantiene firme ante
la adversidad.

Es un manual para aprender a
manejar emociones, mediante el uso del pensamiento y la acción.
¿Qué significa ser estoico
en espiritualidad?
Todo tiene un propósito,
nada ocurre por accidente. Todo forma parte del guion, con un resultado final perfecto.
¿Qué significa ser estoico
en finanzas?
1-. Visión y Misión
Recuerda que morirás. La vida
es finita, vive el momento presente, no dejes nada para después. Valora lo que
tienes, cuida tu compañía, habla con prudencia. El dinero un medio, no el
objetivo. La actividad comercial de una empresa, debe estar destinada a mejorar
la sociedad. La misión y visión de una
empresa, de un emprendedor o de un grupo de empresas ofrece la filosofía de
cómo serán manejadas las operaciones. Conocer y entender esto, es el primer
paso para relacionarnos con cualquier ente económico y social.
2-. Proyección y metas
Abraza tu destino. Que las
cosas no salgan como quieres no significa que salgan mal. Encuentra un
aprendizaje en cada experiencia que creas negativa. En realidad, no lo es. Lo
negativo es tu actitud y la puedes cambiar. No desaproveches las experiencias. Proyectar
siempre establece el plan de acción y las metas, nos indica los momentos
importantes donde sabemos que alcanzamos un determinado escalón. Las
proyecciones y las metas NO son fijas, deben adaptarse a la empresa, en la
medida que se renueva.
3-. Clientes
Somos iguales. Los humanos
no somos tan diferentes, compartimos sentimientos y emociones. Y todos somos
parte de la misma esencia. Practicar la empatía es saludable. Sé estricto
contigo mismo y tolerante con los demás. Los clientes son aquellos que te entregan
su confianza, son tus mejores aliados, trátalos con honor y ética.
4-. Ventas
Reconoce tus errores. Amplia
tu mente adquiriendo conocimientos. Trabaja en tus áreas de mejora. Equivocarse
no es importante, sí lo es rectificar, buscar soluciones, crear nuevas técnicas,
obtener un aprendizaje de cada error
cometido. Un departamento de ventas que no está innovando constantemente sus
estrategias y no identifica sus aciertos y desaciertos, tiene una existencia
limitada.
5-. Proveedores
Nada es bueno ni malo. Lo
importante no es lo que nos sucede, que es inevitable y neutral, sino la forma
de interpretar y afrontar cada situación. Es cuestión de perspectiva. Lo que
sucede, conviene. Lo importante es comprender, utilizando la razón, averiguar
qué podemos hacer y aceptar sin resistencia lo que no depende de nosotros. Nuestros
proveedores deben tener un compromiso mayor, crecerán contigo y forman parte
indirecta de tu empresa. La excelencia se construye desde el equipo. Todo lo
que compras, te permite la continuidad.
6-. Mercadeo
No sufrir por lo que no ha
ocurrido. El miedo al mañana te paraliza y es absolutamente estúpido. Puede
pasar cualquier cosa, pero si no ha sucedido, no te adelantes y no anticipes un
dolor que, quizá, no llegue. Y que, si llega, será inevitable. Un departamento
de mercadeo debe tener la capacidad no solo de conocer a sus clientes, si no
ofrecerles soluciones adaptadas a los constantes cambios. Sus redes sociales
deben ser confiables, siempre manifestando excelencia en sus mensajes.
7-. Contabilidad
Escribe un diario. En
opinión de los estoicos, dedicar un tiempo cada día a reflexionar por escrito,
es un buen hábito, que ayuda a reflexionar sobre las acciones de cada día y a
estar más vigilantes con nosotros mismos. Contabilidad debe brindarte todos los
meses, un reporte de datos, adaptado a las necesidades y economía del entorno.
Almacenar datos sin sentido es una pérdida de tiempo. Limitarse a los reportes
tradicionales es limitar la visión. Analiza las variables que quieres
considerar y cómo influyen unas con las otras. Identifica los riesgos.
8-. Talento humano RRHH
El contacto con la
naturaleza. Respirar aire puro, pasear por el entorno, disfrutar del aire libre
y meditar con nosotros mismos, es una forma eficaz de aquietar la mente. El
objetivo del departamento de personal, no solo es encontrar los candidatos
adecuados para el desempeño, es también mantener su moral alta, conservando su salud
mental y física.
9-. Administración
Desarrolla tu actividad
económica con efectividad. No cambies porque de primera te fue mal, eres el
primero que debes creer en tu potencial. Ser constante y humilde es el camino
hacia la mejora. Construye lentamente. Creer en tu producto, en tu proyecto o en
tu servicio debe ser tu filosofía de vida. Innovar es la regla de oro.
10-. Junta de accionistas
Necesitamos muy poco.
Tenemos mucho más de lo que necesitamos, hacemos y decimos más de lo necesario.
Sería bueno cuestionarnos esto, dispondríamos de más tiempo para lo que sí es
esencial y de más tranquilidad. La junta de accionistas debe garantizar la
historia de la empresa, como un proyecto digno de imitar.
No existe mayor forma
caridad que enseñar y educar. El conocimiento te hace fuerte, poderoso, libre
de prejuicios y prudente. Mi proyecto

We live in a time, a bit
complicated, where it is not easy to predict or project the future. We are
already dealing with the consequences of climate change and we are experiencing
very radical political changes, accompanied by a nuclear threat. All this
invites us to concentrate on our personal performance, to improve it and
focusing on what really makes sense. This is when the need arises to renew our
philosophy of life, so as not to stop perceiving life as a gift and not as a
punishment.
The Stoics thought that life
was complex and exhausting, so they created rules to stay on the 'right track'.
This school of life was founded by Zeno de Citio in ancient Greece, it
identifies the good with the virtuous life, far from the passions. In its
beginnings, it maintains certain contact with some Eastern religious
conceptions and, in its time, it had great political and moral influence.
Today, it represents one of the most important philosophical currents and its
influence can be seen in the cognitive behavioral current of psychology.
Stoicism defends that everything is linked, proposes to live according to
reason, accepting what fate throws at it and trying to eliminate negative
emotions, such as fear and hate, to develop positive ones (love and joy), and
remain unperturbed. with absence of desires and fears, which is called ataraxia
(state of mind characterized by tranquility and the total absence of desires or
fears). Because true happiness depends on each one of us. Chrysippus de Solos,

Acknowledge your mistakes.
Expand your mind by acquiring knowledge. Work on your areas for improvement.
Making mistakes is not important, it is important to rectify, find solutions,
create new techniques, learn from each mistake made. A sales department that is
not constantly innovating its strategies and identifying its strengths and
weaknesses has a limited existence.
5-. Providers
Nothing is good or bad. The
